Being that I originate from New Jersey, and my affinity for house music, I've been designated the evaluator of the night life on our Eastern Europe trip. Last night started with a drink at Duende, a friendly Cafe near the river offering cheap beer and great small appetizers. Next, we ventured to karlovy lazny, a huge 5 story club with different music on each level, and an ice pub (see pics, its self explanatory). Unfortunately, karlovy was a bit touristy and young for our liking, and around 1:30 am we ventured to Roxy, a smaller club much closer to our hotel. Upon walking in I felt right at home, with progressive EDM beats and a light show similar to that seen at places like the avalon in LA or a smaller NYC club. After a few red bull-vodkas and 2 hours of dancing, we finally ventured out for a late night snack and hit our room around 4-4:30. Overall, was very impressed with the Prague scene so far, and I'll have some awesome pics of a few famous pubs and clubs from our adventures today. Like Alex said previously, I give it a 50/50 shot I never leave Prague.
